DHL, a leading supply chain business, is seeking a Procurement Manager to play a key role in developing and delivering our procurement strategy and end-to-end procurement service.

We are looking for someone to lead and provide strategic direction to the Procurement, Design & Technical, and Compliance teams for the provision of Uniforms, packaging, and other categories for our public and private sector customer base.

You will need to drive transformation change to achieve our strategic objectives and deliver an agile, customer-focused procurement team that becomes renowned for great products.

In addition, you will need to deploy a common category management methodology across our procurement contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, own, and deploy the Procurement Strategy across managed procurement
  • Develop a commercially astute and customer-focused procurement team with a can-do mindset
  • Ownership of the procurement strategy and its results – delivering successful sourcing processes, value for money, and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Experience in procurement and category management
  • Experience in a commercially focused role leading and developing a team of procurement specialists
  • Experience in global sourcing of clothing and/or PPE
