About the Role:
The Nursing Assistant Specialist will be responsible for undertaking various procedures, including glucose tolerance tests, blood pressure checks, height, weight, body mass index, urinalysis, new patient health checks, assisting in minor surgery, and supporting patients who are anxious or distressed. They will also participate in programs for the management of long-term conditions through relevant clinics, refer to the primary healthcare team as necessary, and work within all relevant hospital practice policies and procedural guidelines. Additionally, they will contribute to the development, monitoring, and evaluation of healthcare care delivery by the primary healthcare team, promote effective communication and relationships within the team, and participate in clinical supervision for personal development.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. A background in nursing or a related field is preferred, but not essential. The successful candidate will also need to be willing to undergo training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
