Global Commodity Manager

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a highly skilled Global Commodity Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be based at our customer's site in Derby.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective supplier relationship management strategies to drive cost savings and improve operational performance.
- Lead the cost management of designated supply chains, ensuring compliance with Single Source Contract Regulations and business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy commodity strategies that meet current and future business needs.
- Manage and maintain procurement processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead and develop a high-performing commodity team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a strong understanding of Single Source Contract Regulations.
- Excellent commercial skills, with the ability to negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the function.
- Security clearance is required for this role, with a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats.
