Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is recruiting a Global Commodity Manager to work at our customer's site in Derby on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage partner and supplier relationships at all levels, contributing to top-to-top management of operational performance and strategic direction.
  • Lead the effective deployment of the Supplier Engagement Model within the scope of the role.
  • Responsible for cost performance of designated supply chains relative to business and customer requirements.
  • Lead long-term cost improvement in all relevant activities in line with business plans.
  • Ensure team resourcing, training, and/or capability are at the levels required for success.
Requirements
  • Awareness of Single Source Contract Regulations.
  • Strong commercial skills and ability to support the team with negotiations on terms and conditions.
  • Select a supply chain capable of meeting quality and delivery requirements.
  • Responsible for driving delivery performance of the designated supply chain(s) and the resolution of any performance-related issues.

Due to the nature of work, the successful candidate must be a UK national or in MoD-approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
