Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Manage partner and supplier relationships at all levels, contributing to top-to-top management of operational performance and strategic direction.
  • Cost Management: Lead cost performance of designated supply chains, leveraging cost reductions across commodity/category scope.
  • Strategy: Develop, deploy, and communicate commodity/category/supplier strategies, providing a clear vision and framework for designated supply chains.
  • Processes and Procedures: Ensure compliance to company policies, processes, and procedures, maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Resource Management: Lead the commodity team, ensuring team resourcing, training, and capability meet success requirements.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate effective planning and execution of sourcing and commercial activities.
  • Strong commercial skills and ability to support negotiations on terms and conditions.
  • Understanding of supply chains and development of supply chain strategies.

  • Awareness of Single Source Contract Regulations.
  • Nurture effective relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Additional Information:

This role requires a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats. Due to the nature of work, the successful candidate must be a UK national or in MoD-approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
