At HW People, we are seeking an exceptional Sales Director to drive business growth and success in our dynamic organisation.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership within the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and developing strategic insights. They will be responsible for driving key initiatives to expand market share, increase client retention, and build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive, forward-thinking sales strategy targeting key markets, with a focus on expanding market share and driving business growth.
- Market Analysis: Analyse client retention rates and market share data to identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and potential acquisitions.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to enhance performance and account management. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment while developing team capabilities.
- Sales Pipeline Development: Assist in the transition to SAP, establishing KPIs and sector-specific sales targets. Build and maintain a visible, actionable sales pipeline to ensure long-term success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, particularly the Head of Operations, to ensure seamless coordination between sales, production, and workflow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
- Clear evidence of a structured approach to Sales & Marketing management.
- Strong bias for Business Development Management with a focus on securing new opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen and previous budget responsibility with a strategic mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £75,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
- A bonus scheme offering up to 10% of annual salary.
