We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our healthcare team at HMP Lindholme, a Category C/D men's prison in the UK. As the sole Psychiatrist for the site, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to approximately 1000 male patients.

The role is part-time, working 24 hours per week, with an estimated annual salary of up to £182,778 based on experience. You will work three days a week from 8 am-4 pm, with Mondays and Tuesdays being fixed days, and one additional day between Wednesday-Friday.

About the Role
  • Actively participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, leading senior mental health clinicians on service developments and providing clinical supervision.
  • Work within the multi-disciplinary team to review referrals, determine appropriate treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and engage in multi-professional complex case reviews.

Key qualifications required include current GMC registration, Specialist Registration in either General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry, Approved under section 12 (2) of the MHS 1983, and understanding of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
