Position Overview


As a Senior TE Sustainment Engineer, you will oversee the integration of Test Equipment into the manufacturing environment, ensuring all related documentation and spare parts are effectively managed.

This role encompasses providing support for all Design for Test considerations pertinent to the Printed Circuit Board Capability.

Key Responsibilities


Your role will involve demonstrating strong leadership capabilities, offering technical updates, guidance, and support to all relevant stakeholders while managing risks associated with the Test Equipment delivery.


  • Facilitate the transfer of Test Equipment and associated documentation from the Engineering Department to the Supply Chain end user.
  • Take ownership of reliability and yield enhancement projects to improve Test Equipment performance during and post-transition.
  • Provide expert technical advice to the Test Systems New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sustainment teams.
  • Ensure safe operations within Engineering Lab Space.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster their development.
  • Actively participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program evaluations.
  • Communicate significant issues or developments in a timely manner.
  • Comply with Quality Management Systems processes and procedures.
  • Offer technical insights to advance In-Circuit Test / Flying Probe Test development and support initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance regarding JTAG Technologies BSCAN controllers and ProVision software functionalities.
Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline
  • Proven technical leadership experience
  • Basic project management skills
  • Familiarity with configuration/change management tools
  • Proficient debugging and fault-finding skills
  • Experience in hardware/software integration
  • Background in mentoring less experienced engineers
  • Excellent communication skills across teams, peers, and management levels
Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge or experience in NPI processes
  • Understanding of Test Systems Sustainment processes
  • Familiarity with regulated Quality Management Systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing engineers.
  • Enthusiasm for driving Continuous Improvement initiatives and investing in process development/refinement.
