We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Products Engineer to join our team at Spirax-Sarco Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the development of sustainable products and solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing sustainable product design strategies that minimize environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement eco-design principles, life cycle assessments, and other sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable product design strategies that meet business and sustainability objectives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to define requirements that minimize environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle
  • Accelerate and embed life cycle assessment (LCA) processes into engineering procedures
  • Promote and advocate product sustainability to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies
  • Familiarity with eco-design principles and life cycle assessments
  • Excellent communication, innovation, and problem-solving skills
