Sustainable Products Engineer

At Spirax-Sarco Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Products Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in creating and driving the strategic direction and implementation of a Sustainability ethos into our existing and new product design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an Eco-design strategy to embed sustainability criteria into our product development process.
  • Work closely with colleagues to define requirements that minimize the environmental impact of our products and solutions throughout their lifecycle.
  • Accelerate and embed the LCA process into our Engineering procedures to enable easy replication and expansion.
  • Promote and advocate product sustainability to our internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A relevant bachelor's degree, or qualification through experience.
  • Developing and implementing strategy.
  • Familiarity with the concept of eco-design and application within product development.
  • Familiarity with LCA process and relevant regulations and standards.
  • Using sustainability drivers as an enabler for proactive environmental decisions.
