Sustainable Products Engineer

Role Overview:

The Sustainable Products Engineer will drive the development of sustainable products and solutions that minimize environmental impact. This role will focus on creating and implementing eco-friendly product design strategies, working closely with colleagues to define requirements that reduce the environmental footprint of our products throughout their lifecycle.

Your Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable product design strategies that meet business and sustainability goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability criteria into product development processes
  • Accelerate the adoption of life cycle assessment (LCA) processes to inform product design decisions
  • Promote and advocate for sustainable products to internal and external stakeholders

Your Previous Experience:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies
  • Familiarity with eco-design principles and LCA processes
  • Ability to communicate complex sustainability concepts to diverse audiences

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate passion for sustainability and commitment to reducing environmental impact
  • Excellent communication, innovation, and problem-solving skills
  • Project management skills and self-motivation
  • Ability to communicate complex results in a simplified manner
