Position Overview


As a Senior TE Sustainment Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful integration of Test Equipment into the production landscape, along with the necessary documentation and spare parts.

This role encompasses providing comprehensive support for all Design for Test aspects related to the Printed Circuit Board Capability.

Key Responsibilities


Your leadership abilities will be crucial as you offer technical insights, updates, and guidance to various stakeholders while effectively managing risks associated with Test Equipment delivery.


  • Oversee the transition of Test Equipment and related documentation from the Engineering Division to the Supply Chain end users.
  • Responsible for tackling all reliability and yield improvement initiatives to boost Test Equipment performance during and post-transition.
  • Offer technical counsel to the Test Systems New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sustainment teams.
  • Ensure safe operations within Engineering Lab environments.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their skills.
  • Actively participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program evaluations.
  • Communicate promptly regarding significant issues or developments.
  • Comply with Quality Management Systems processes and protocols.
  • Provide technical support to advance In-Circuit Test / Flying Probe Test development and related projects.
  • Offer expertise in JTAG Technologies BSCAN controllers and ProVision software functionalities.
Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership.
  • Basic understanding of Project Management principles.
  • Familiarity with configuration/change management tools.
  • Proficient in debugging and fault diagnosis.
  • Experience in Hardware/Software integration.
  • Background in mentoring less experienced engineers.
  • Strong communication skills with teams, peers, and management at all levels.
Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge or experience in NPI processes.
  • Familiarity with Test Systems Sustainment processes.
  • Experience with regulated Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing engineering talent.
  • A proactive approach to driving Continuous Improvement initiatives and refining processes.
