Spirax-Sarco Engineering: Sustainable Products Engineer

Join Spirax-Sarco Engineering, a leading industrial engineering group, as a Sustainable Products Engineer. This role is a key part of our Steam Thermal Solutions business, which provides engineered solutions for the design, provision, and maintenance of efficient industrial and commercial steam systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a sustainability ethos into our existing and new product design, primarily through the development of our Eco-design and LCA processes.
  • Support the changing sustainability needs of our customers in line with business and sustainability strategies.
  • Work closely with colleagues to define requirements that minimize the environmental impact of our products and solutions throughout their lifecycle.
  • Promote and advocate product sustainability to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A relevant bachelor's degree or qualification through experience.
  • Developing and implementing strategy.
  • Familiarity with the concept of eco-design and application within product development.
  • Familiarity with LCA process and relevant regulations and standards.
