Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Interface Recruitment UK is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join their team. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all areas of the business to ensure effective IT solutions are in place at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the end user base with 1st/2nd/3rd line incident tickets
  • Project Management work
  • Supporting key business systems
  • Performance management of business systems
  • Performing hardware and software maintenance/upgrades where needed
  • 3rd party Supplier management
  • Documentation of software/systems
  • Maintaining a high degree of customer service
Requirements:
  • Microsoft Windows Server Management (2012/2016/2019)
  • Desktop PCs and Operating systems (Windows 10/8/7/XP)
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • Networking and firewalls including VLANs, trunking, content filtering and application rules
  • Cisco VOIP Telephone installs and maintenance
  • Virtualisation technologies including Hyper-V and VMware vSphere
  • Backup/DR technologies including Veeam
  • ERP / Business Process Knowledge
  • IT Security - Desktop/File & Folder/Network/Internet
  • Retail EPOS experience
  • Advanced hardware / Software diagnosis and fault finding skills
  • Working under own initiative
  • Flexible working hours, required to work out of hours
  • Recording problems and their solutions for future reference
  • Training users on new systems or software applications
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities
  • Liaison with third parties to seek solution

Benefits: Salary up to £35,000 per annum, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, £200 payment for on call, co phone & laptop, co car to be used for dual site visits, 5 day working week, 4% pension, Death in Service, Training including possibility of certified training.
