Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Private Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at Arbuthnot Latham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex real estate clients and providing them with strategic advice and support.

Responsibilities
  • Originate and manage a portfolio of more complex real estate clients, serving as their strategic partner in the bank and acting as a gateway to other products and services.
  • Specific responsibility for developing the ALREF offer in the UK and sourcing business for the wider bank.
  • Manage and develop a high-value and complex portfolio of both assets and liabilities, including the management of a loan book, with particular focus on its impact on the P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Within a 6-month period, develop and present business cases and initiate credit proposals that are complex, in-depth, and larger value to meet client needs and meet ALREF standards.
Requirements
  • A successful background in Commercial Banking with broad experience across the financial services industry and detailed knowledge of the Real Estate market.
  • Significant Commercial Banking experience dealing with Real Estate clients in both investment and development.
  • Proven track record in developing new business and growing a portfolio of high-quality Real Estate clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including networking, negotiation, presentation, influencing, and collaboration.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £90,000 - £140,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension and holiday allowance, BUPA health cover, 4x life assurance, discretionary bonus, and market-leading maternity/paternity and menopause policies.
