Job Title: Senior Endoscopy Nurse

The Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Endoscopy Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality Endoscopy care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and planning individualized Endoscopy care for patients
  • Delivering high-quality Endoscopy care to patients, including preparation, procedure, and recovery
  • Leading the Endoscopy team to ensure adherence to safe interventional procedures and efficient running of the list
  • Exhibiting excellent teamwork and communication skills with the wider hospital environment
  • Participating in education, training, and development of other staff
  • Ensuring all equipment is checked prior to use and reporting any faults immediately
  • Helping to prevent cross-infection by observing departmental policy and procedures
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Endoscopy nursing
  • Endoscopy competence within a range of procedures
  • Competence in delivering high-quality Endoscopy care
  • Good computer and numeracy skills
  • Flexibility in response to departmental needs
  • Ability to deliver high-quality customer service to patients and Consultants
  • Good team working skills
