About the Job

We are seeking a Business Growth Representative to join our team at Ansys. As a Business Growth Representative, you will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current and/or prospective customers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently. They will also have demonstrated understanding of engineering analysis and technology.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further hone and develop their software sales skills working for a market leader with a predicted annual revenue growth of 12%.

Job Description:

  • Growing business with existing customer accounts.
  • Exploring new markets and white space.
  • Maximizing sales profitability, growth, and account penetration.

Responsibilities:

  • Research sources for developing prospective customers or expanding to new groups in existing customers.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations.
  • Provides accurate forecasts for new sales and renewal revenues.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions; schedules training and seminars to enhance new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, business or related field with 1+ years of experience in technical, business or sales positions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering analysis and technology.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Travel: up to 50%. Emphasis on office-based working when not at customer site.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (dependent on location)
