About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated Social Workers to join our Adult Community Teams in Cheshire East Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to adults in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage risk to adults in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies.
  • Provide support and guidance to adults and their families, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring best practice in social work.
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in adult social care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with adults, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of adult safeguarding, mental capacity, and best interest decisions.
