Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Deliver Training Programmes: Create and implement training sessions aligned with national occupational standards, NICE guidelines, and CQC outcomes.
- Facilitate Training Sessions: Deliver training through webinars, face-to-face meetings, e-learning modules, and other formats.
- Support Training Calendars: Assist in the preparation and implementation of national and regional training calendars.
- Provide Learning Plans: Offer tailored learning plans to meet individual needs and provide practical assistance to learners and staff.
- Encourage Reflective Practice: Support peers with audits and quality assurance initiatives.
- Monitor Learner Progress: Report learner progress, publicise training initiatives, and participate in team meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Senior-Level Experience: Experience working in health and social care services at a senior level.
- Training Qualification: Minimum level training/teaching qualification (AET, CET, PTLLS) or relevant experience in social care/health care training.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of National Occupation Standards, NICE guidelines, and CQC requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, adapt to changing situations, and travel as required.
