Job Title: Civil Enforcement Officer

Cheshire East Council is seeking a Civil Enforcement Officer to join its Parking Services Team. As a frontline ambassador for the council, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of parking services across the borough.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce parking restrictions and regulations in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Patrol designated areas, including car parks and highways, to monitor parking activity and issue penalty charge notices as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with members of the public.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including written and electronic documentation.
Requirements:
  • Full and valid manual UK driving licence.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
  • Enhanced DBS check due to work in and around schools.
  • Good attendance record and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to adopt a fair but firm approach when enforcing parking regulations.
