About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Civil Enforcement Officer to join our Parking Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parking services and enforcing parking regulations across the borough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce parking regulations and issue penalty charge notices as necessary
  • Conduct patrols of council-operated car parks and the highway to ensure compliance with parking restrictions
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with members of the public
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to achieve shared goals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of enforcement activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full and valid manual UK driving licence
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • An enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
