Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Willis Towers Watson. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing and its main concepts, including different testing levels, methods, and types.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with developers and product owners to ensure the quality of business process automation applications.
  • Contribute to test planning meetings and provide inputs on high-level test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates, etc.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine user story acceptance criteria and ensure quality is embedded from the requirements analysis phase.
  • Perform exploratory testing against acceptance criteria to ensure new features are introduced to a high standard.
  • Review the level and scope of automation testing to inform exploratory testing.
  • Help the team improve test processes and automation in an agile environment.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in QA roles with a deep understanding of software testing.
  • Natural curiosity with advanced analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with testing across various software, including complex web-based applications and APIs.
  • Experience with issue management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile team and environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with test automation using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with unit test style frameworks in JavaScript.
  • Experience testing enterprise-level SaaS solutions.
  • Experience guiding CI/CD processes.
  • Degree-educated in a relevant discipline (Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering).

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
