Strategic Sales and Business Growth Manager

As a key member of The Lensbury Resort's commercial team, this role will focus on developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive business growth in the MICE and Elite Sports segments.
This will involve building relationships with key decision-makers, leveraging CRM tools, and analyzing sales pipelines to identify new business opportunities.
The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Director and work closely with the Resort Revenue Director, M&E Sales Manager, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales plans in-line with commercial and marketing objectives.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities, identifying target organizations and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with the Resort Revenue Director and M&E Sales Manager to target periods of risk and achieve revenue targets.
- Manage and analyze sales data to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
- Represent The Lensbury Resort at industry events and exhibitions to promote the MICE and Elite Sports sales plans.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally in the hotel/hospitality industry.
- Demonstrable network of corporate event bookers and event agency contacts.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Ability to manage and analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Team player with a natural ability to prioritize and manage workload.
