Caring Team Lead

We offer a challenging yet rewarding role as a team leader at a top 20 care home group in the UK. This position involves overseeing teams and ensuring excellent resident care, family support, and staff retention.
Salary: £16.67 per hour plus company benefits, including opportunities for career progression, for full-time hours.
The Role:
This position requires a skilled individual who can work closely with the Deputy Manager to coordinate resident assessment processes and communicate relevant information to achieve a person-centred approach.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for delivering and managing medication administration processes, auditing and training included, and recruiting and managing the care team through our system.
Other key responsibilities include communicating regularly with family members about resident needs and progress, managing team member absence, and conducting return-to-work sessions.
Providing daily coaching and support to senior care assistants and care assistants is also an essential part of this role.
Requirements:
- NVQ 3 is essential, NVQ 4 or QCF Level 4 Diploma in Management is desirable.
- Two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry.
- Experience in planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care delivery.
- Experience working with older people.
