About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Team Manager to join our Care Experienced Young People’s service based in Exeter. This role is responsible for supporting a team of skilled social workers and practitioners to build long-term relationships with children and young people, helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the team in building effective professional relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
  • To ensure that care plans are of high quality and meet the needs of children and young people.
  • To work creatively with multi-disciplinary groups to problem-solve and care plan for children in care and care leavers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Satisfactory completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
  • Experience working within social care, including working in a multi-agency and court environment.
  • Exceptional recording and planning skills.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
