Job Title: SEN Teacher Secondary School Specialist
Location: England, Greater London
Salary: £150 - £210 Per Day
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. We are looking for an experienced SEN teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Greater London.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specialist training or experience in teaching students with Special Educational Needs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
- Create individual learning plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to provide a holistic approach to student development.
- Participate in Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Specialist training or experience in teaching students with SEN.
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and SEN Code of Practise.
