Performance and Reporting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance and Reporting Manager to join our Defence team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality performance reporting and project controls services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement performance reporting processes to drive efficiency and improve client outcomes.
- Design and implement performance management plans for clients, incorporating best practices and project requirements.
- Lead the implementation and embedding of performance reporting processes, ensuring seamless integration with project controls.
- Promote the benefits and requirements of performance reporting within the project and programme team.
- Select, implement, administer, and maintain performance reporting systems and procedures.
- Lead the definition of KPIs and performance measures dictionary.
- Lead teams of project controls and performance reporting professionals to deliver effective, consistent, and value-adding performance information to clients.
- Present performance recovery recommendations to stakeholders and senior management to support informed decision-making.
- Train and coach clients and team members on performance reporting management processes and practices.
- Undertake line management activities, including career development and performance management.
- Demonstrate a track record of providing project controls support to the configuration and setup of project reporting information systems.
- Practical experience of implementing Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis.
- Understanding of how other aspects of Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control) interact with reporting.
- Experience in leading small teams.
- Basic familiarity with Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys, etc.).
- Experience in using data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).
Due to the sensitive nature of the works involved in these specialist defence projects, candidates will be required to hold, or be able to hold, valid security clearance (SC).
