Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of RTT Validation and Clerical Support Officer in our General Imaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic patient pathway.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Validating and tracking referral to treatment processes in a patient's diagnostic pathway
  • Escalating delays due to insufficient clinical information to progress the patient's pathway
  • Identifying trends and key themes of incorrect requests/data entry against individual patient pathways
  • Managing data quality issues and errors that may arise
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant administrative experience, including maintaining office and patient record systems
  • Previous NHS experience of patient pathway management and dealing with staff, patients, and the public
  • Experience using CRS, RISe/PACS, Healthroster, and Oracle systems
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of confidentiality and data protection
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and prioritize your workload in a busy clinical environment
