Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of RTT Validation and Clerical Support Officer in our General Imaging department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for validating and tracking referral to treatment processes in patient diagnostic pathways.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Validate and track referral to treatment processes in patient diagnostic pathways
  • Escalate delays due to insufficient clinical information or non-compliance with DM01 guidelines
  • Identify and address trends and key themes in incorrect requests or data entry
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports using computerized software packages
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant administrative experience, including maintaining office and patient record systems
  • Previous NHS experience in patient pathway management and dealing with staff, patients, and the public
  • Proficiency in using computerized software packages, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRS/RISe/PACS
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and confidentiality and data protection principles

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • GCSE/A Level or equivalent standard of education (including English and Maths)
  • ILM 2/3 qualification (desirable)
  • Previous experience using CRS, RISe/PACS, Healthroster, and Oracle systems
