We are seeking a highly skilled Events Manager to lead our events programme, developing, promoting and delivering a range of events that maximise income, drive supporter engagement and raise our profile.

Reporting to the Head of Communication, the Events Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders and fundraising teams to develop a strategy for special events that drives major funder engagement, cultivates opportunities and maximises income.

You will manage event committees, nurture relationships with key individuals and positively influence their engagement and contributions to the Rainbow Trust special events and sports programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with the charity's objectives
  • Work closely with fundraising teams to identify opportunities for growth and development
  • Manage event committees and ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Nurture relationships with key individuals and stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of events and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event management and coordination
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of MSOffice and database management
