About the Opportunity

  • This is a full-time opportunity based in Leatherhead with a competitive salary of £45,000 (depending on experience).
  • The role offers a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, birthday off, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, and free onsite parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic Philanthropy plan, focusing on long-term growth and expansion of supporter portfolios.
  • Cultivate and steward key supporters, ensuring excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Collaborate with the Events Manager to engage supporters through special events and fundraising campaigns.
  • Manage and support a team of three direct reports, providing leadership and guidance to achieve team goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in securing five- and six-figure funding from supporters, with strong negotiation and networking skills.
  • Skilled in prospect research, supporter relationship management, and stewardship, with expertise in Major Gift and fundraising best practices.
  • Strong line management experience, building high-performing teams, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
