Job Title: Project Cost Manager

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Office Angels, a leading player in the construction industry.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing accurate cost estimates for projects, working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, Draughtsmen, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare detailed cost estimates, considering materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  2. Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  3. Assess project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential cost overruns.
  4. Review and validate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  5. Maintain and update cost databases and records of past project performances.
  6. Monitor and track project costs during execution to ensure adherence to budgets and identify any variances.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of construction projects and related cost factors.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Benefits:
