About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mental Health Act Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing administrative support to our mental health services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards processes. This will involve:

  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of patient legal status
  • Coordinating with hospital managers and the First Tier Tribunal service to arrange tribunal panels
  • Providing administrative support to our mental health teams, including answering phone calls and responding to emails
  • Preparing and distributing documents to patients and their families

Person SpecificationQualifications
  • NVQ level 3/4 in administration, or equivalent experience
Experience
  • Office experience and working as part of a small busy team
  • Experience of working with mental health services or personal/life experience of mental ill health
