Claims Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Non-Marine Claims team, you will be responsible for managing complex claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multinational and multi-layered complex claims, ensuring compliance with regulations and agreed timescales.
- Provide value-added claims service to clients across various business areas, working collaboratively with Broking teams and Global offices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring prompt resolution of queries and data requests.
- Review and manage production of claim statistics, identifying trends and suggesting efficiencies.
- Oversee unit performance regarding product issues, providing claim analytics and suggesting improvements.
- Actively monitor claims service performance, challenging where necessary to ensure client satisfaction.
- Review cash-flow process, highlighting potential concerns and managing service provider relationships.
- Develop business relationships with markets, clients, and colleagues to provide optimal service.
- Provide guidance and share claims technical expertise with team members, promoting talent development.
- Be proactive in planning, identifying, and implementing process and system efficiencies.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of the (re)insurance market to address client and technical issues.
- Strong level of experience producing and reporting statistical claims data to clients.
- Ability to deal effectively with technical, complex, and bespoke documentation.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize/re-prioritize due to changing circumstances.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills, with ability to learn new platforms.
- Team player with willingness to work flexibly and assist colleagues as required.
- Sound claims technical experience, with focus on Energy Claims and/or Financial Lines claims desirable but not essential.
- Experience acting as complex claims technical referral point.
