Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Figbury Lodge, a state-of-the-art care facility in Poole. As a Nurse at Shaw Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centered care, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess residents' needs and develop personalized care plans to meet their physical, social, and psychological needs.
  • Champion independence and personal choice, ensuring that residents are empowered to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Oversee all aspects of medicine management, ensuring that medications are received, stored, and administered in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of respect and dignity.
  • Support and guide colleagues in their roles, providing mentorship and training to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification and relevant experience in elderly healthcare.
  • Ability to lead a team, analyze problems, and propose solutions or improvements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop professional relationships.
  • Understanding of IT systems and communication tools required for the role.
  • Respect for the values, views, and needs of others, with a commitment to promoting a culture of respect and dignity.
