About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Figbury Lodge, a state-of-the-art care facility in Poole. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, and psychological needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess residents' needs and develop personalized care plans to enhance their quality of life
  • Champion independence and personal choice, promoting autonomy and dignity
  • Oversee medicine management, ensuring safe and effective administration
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, identifying and resolving risks proactively
  • Support and mentor colleagues, promoting a culture of learning and development

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering nursing care in an elderly healthcare setting
  • Ability to lead a team, analyze problems, and propose solutions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing workload and managing time effectively
  • Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programs
