Homefield House is a specialist care center offering dedicated dementia nursing care for the elderly in a peaceful semi-rural setting. The home features 24 single bedrooms arranged in self-contained units, each with its own lounge and dining area.
Role: Bank Nurse
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated nurses to join our team at Homefield House on a bank basis. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our elderly residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and care needs
- Administer medication and closely monitor service users' responses
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including wound care and palliative care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate personalized care plans
- Assist residents with daily activities and provide emotional support
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to CQC guidelines
- Contribute to policy development and implementation
- Train new staff members
- Registered Nurse with the NMC
- Experience in elderly care, including Alzheimer's and dementia-related conditions
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to professional development
Bank shifts, as and when required. Shift times are 07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00.
