Job Summary:

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Bank Domestic Assistant. As a key member of our domestic team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our care home.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all areas of the care home are clean and sanitized to the highest standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness, minimizing disruption to our service users and their care.
  • Develop effective relationships with service users, their families, and colleagues, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Work independently, using your initiative to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness within the home.
  • Use a variety of cleaning products, adhering to COSHH regulations and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • No previous experience is necessary, as we provide full training and support for your development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
