About Figbury Lodge:

Figbury Lodge is a comprehensive care service featuring 60 beds for nursing, residential, and dementia care, alongside an additional 20 transitional beds.

Compensation: Up to £75,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify authentic leadership and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring 24-hour accountability for resident care.
  • Manage resources effectively, including financial performance and occupancy levels.

  • Adhere to all regulatory and legislative standards, particularly those set by CQC.

Leadership Expectations:

  • Serve as a role model for staff, maintaining visibility and approachability.
  • Establish and uphold high standards of care in alignment with Shaw Healthcare's vision.
  • Ensure thorough and professional employee selection and onboarding processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through clinical governance.

General Management Duties:

  • Effectively manage the service's budget and meet key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations and relevant legislation.
  • Facilitate residents' control over their financial affairs, maintaining accurate records.
  • Embed a culture of meaningful activities throughout the service.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing a similar-sized service.
  • Experience overseeing nursing services.
  • Current registration with CQC.
  • QCF Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
