Overview

Hunter AHP is seeking a dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to fill an ongoing locum position for their paediatric service in East London. This dynamic role involves working with children aged 0-18 years old, providing expert care and support to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical work in special schools, including postural assessments and upper limb interventions to promote functional skills and independence.
  • Supporting children with multiple and complex needs to develop essential life skills and adapt to their environments.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals, including occupational therapists, psychologists, nurses, and assistants, to provide comprehensive care and support.

Essential Requirements

  • A strong background in paediatric occupational therapy, with experience working with children aged 0-18 years old.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent clinical skills, including assessment, intervention, and goal setting.
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
