About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work with children and young people who have neurological conditions, providing assessment and intervention to support their occupational engagement.

Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of child development and the impact of neurological conditions on occupational participation. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide therapeutic interventions, equipment provision, and education to support patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with children with complex needs in an acute setting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cooperatively within OT and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Health and Care Professions Council registration
  • Continued professional development across clinical, research, and leadership pillars
  • Significant experience as an OT working with children with neurological conditions and complex disability
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, and the salary is £44,590 - £59,270 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
