Job Overview

The Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Senior Neurological Occupational Therapist to join our team. This rotational post offers a unique opportunity to work across various neurological specialisms, including acute and community settings.

This role requires a flexible approach to working, with the ability to work across different locations and undertake weekend commitments as required. As a member of our team, you will be expected to carry a caseload of patients with complex neurological health and social care needs, using evidence-based practice and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.

Main Responsibilities
  • To identify, prioritise and manage patients presenting with neurological impairments, who require occupational therapy input.
  • To assess and treat patients with neurological disabilities and complex needs.
  • To provide specialist occupational therapy input to neurological wards and other settings.
  • To identify risks and implement risk management strategies.
Person Specification
  • Occupational Therapy Qualification (Dip RCOT or BSc OT)
  • HCPC Registration
  • Portfolio and evidence of continuing professional development
  • Member of Professional Body (RCOT)
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a salary of approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, inclusive of HCA. We also offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
