Occupational Therapist Position

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate occupational therapist to work with children between the ages of 6-16 who have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs in a school setting.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, particularly in relation to pediatric and mental health areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with SEN, especially mental health issues, in a school environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans to improve social, emotional, and mental well-being.
  • Assess and address challenging behaviors, trauma and neglect backgrounds, ADHD and Autism, and associated mental health issues.
  • Provide comprehensive training and development opportunities to ensure the child's happiness and well-being.

Requirements:
