We are seeking two ambitious students to join our dynamic team in the Paint Shop at MINI Plant Oxford. This 13-month placement offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing engineering, ensuring the high-quality surface finishing of MINI vehicles.

About the Role:
  • Support the development of innovative solutions to improve the manufacturing process and products.
  • Lead projects to drive continuous improvement, focusing on stabilising automated areas and enhancing performance.
  • Implement systematic approaches to root cause analysis and troubleshooting within robotics and automated material application.
  • Develop and deliver training to resolve quality and throughput issues.
Requirements:
  • Studying towards a Bachelor's or integrated Master's degree in an Engineering discipline, with a minimum of a 2:1 grade.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Desirable experience with PowerBI, but not essential.
  • Self-motivated and organised, able to prioritise tasks, use initiative, and manage time effectively.
