We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Children's Home Lead at Blackstone Recruitment Limited. As a respected professional in the field of childcare, you will have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children with severe and profound communication difficulties and be able to provide effective support and guidance to help them thrive.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of support workers and senior support workers, ensuring that they receive regular supervision, mentoring, and coaching to maintain the highest standards of care and well-being. You will work closely with the Care Managers to develop and implement individualized program plans, ensuring that each child receives tailored support to achieve their full potential.

Key aspects of this role include promoting a stable, happy, and homely environment that prioritizes the health, safety, and welfare of the young people. You will also be required to undertake sleeping-in duties, waking night duties, and duty manager/on-call responsibilities on a regular basis. Participation in physical intervention and personal care may be necessary in this role.

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to lead and motivate others. A QCF Level 3 in Childcare or Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential, along with shift/team leading experience and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

We offer a competitive salary of £31,720 - £34,611 per annum, linked to competency and qualifications. Other benefits include full training and continued support, DBS payment, 33 days' holiday including bank holidays, life assurance, and enhanced pension scheme.
