We are seeking an exceptional Community Outreach Lead to lead the delivery of our NHS Cadets programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recruiting young people onto the programme, supervising staff and volunteers, and delivering high-quality content to ensure the programme's success.

\

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team of over 1,700 employees and 30,000 volunteers, united by our goal of saving lives through essential first aid services, training, and campaigning.

About You

  • \
  • You have a strong educational background, with GCSEs or equivalent in five subjects including Maths and English.\
  • You have experience teaching, training, or demonstrating to young people.\
  • You understand Youth/community work and barriers faced by marginalized communities.\
  • You possess excellent organizational skills, with experience leading the delivery of a programme.\
  • You are a strong communicator, with experience tailoring content to suit various audiences and supporting young people to achieve their potential.\
  • You are available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and are willing to travel.\
  • You have a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus benefits such as a generous pension, hybrid working, and opportunities for career growth and development.\

About the Role

  • Recruit young people onto the NHS Cadets Programme.\
  • Supervise St John Ambulance youth support staff and volunteers to deliver the programme.\
  • Support the evaluation of the programme and produce reports as needed.\
  • Deliver the programme effectively, ensuring engaging content and administration are completed.\
  • Perform any other duties commensurate with these responsibilities.\
