Strategic Markets Editor

Walker Lovell is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Markets Editor to drive the PRA strategy in the biofuels and feedstock markets. This pivotal leadership role requires the delivery of market-leading content and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-level content, including market reporting, in-depth analyses, and interviews, to enhance our presence and reputation in the biofuels and feedstock markets.
  • Identify and promote new pricing benchmarks to drive market growth.
  • Collaborate with teams to plan and execute market engagement strategies, leveraging industry relations and expertise.
  • Guide and mentor reporters, providing strategic and functional direction to ensure high-quality content.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at events and in media, raising our profile and showcasing our expertise in the biofuels and feedstock markets.
Qualifications:
  • Strong journalism skills with a flair for writing and a deep understanding of market analysis.
  • Extensive network and industry relations, ideally in battery raw materials, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience in a PRA, pricing benchmarks, or market analysis, with excellent public speaking and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong market analysis and data-driven decision-making skills, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive business outcomes, with a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
