Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy to drive market engagement and visibility in the biofuels and feedstock markets.
  • Produce high-level content, including insightful market reporting, in-depth focus pieces, and interviews, to drive market engagement and visibility.
  • Identify and produce high-level content to drive market engagement and visibility in the battery raw materials/energy transition markets.
  • Help drive presence and reputation in the biofuels and feedstock markets in which Fastmarkets aims to expand.
  • Identify prices to launch and promote, including determining the specifications, methodology, and data submission pool.
  • Work with the broader business to plan engagement and help lead the biofuels and feedstock team to engage with market participants and exchanges.
  • Produce, coordinate, and edit a range of strategic content in a joined-up approach across markets and geographies for maximum impact.
  • Assess and approve prices for certain strategic markets as required, and help to ensure all prices produced by reporters meet Fastmarkets' and its regulators' rigorous standards.
  • Align strategic content with marketing, and across customer interfaces: editorial, events, client presentations, and meetings.
  • Burnish our reputation for market-leading expertise and insight by serving as a brand ambassador at Fastmarkets' and other events, attracting high-profile speakers, presenting at events and in meetings, and moderating panels and webinars.
  • Partner with the Editorial Director and Managing Regional Editors to define and plan priorities for strategic content and customer engagement in a specific market group.
  • Engage with reporters and Editorial Operations to guide and support a joined-up approach to high-impact strategic content.
  • Collaborate with Events team to grow delegate list and create compelling agendas, maximising the reach and impact of content-driven events.
  • Align content approach with strategic goals of the Marketing team, ensuring consistency of message and strength of impact.
  • Work with product and strategy team to align and showcase the value of our content on the customer dashboard, driving adoption and engagement.
  • Engage with research to produce content that is aligned with internal forecasting, enhancing its relevance and value.

Requirements:

  • Strong journalism skills and writing flair.
  • A network of contacts and strong industry relations, ideally in the battery raw materials field.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically about the long-term goals of the organization.
  • Market Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
