Job Description

Fastmarkets Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Markets Editor - Biofuels (Hybrid) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop and produce high-level content, including insightful market reporting, in-depth focus pieces, and interviews, to drive market engagement and visibility in the biofuels and feedstock markets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to assess trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, and provide strategic recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Price Strategy: Identify prices to launch and promote, including determining specifications, methodology, and data submission pools, to ensure accurate and reliable market data.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial, events, and marketing teams to plan and execute content-driven events, and align content approach with strategic goals.
  • Brand Ambassador: Serve as a brand ambassador at Fastmarkets Group events, attracting high-profile speakers, presenting at events, and moderating panels and webinars to burnish our reputation for market-leading expertise and insight.
Requirements
  • Strong Journalism Skills: Possess strong journalism skills and writing flair, with the ability to think critically and strategically about the long-term goals of the organization.
  • Industry Network: Develop and maintain a network of contacts and strong industry relations, ideally in the biofuels and feedstock markets.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate strategic thinking, with the ability to assess and manage risks associated with new price launches, and drive business growth through data-driven decision-making.
  • Project Management: Possess strong project management skills to ensure timely and successful implementation of new initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
