About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Markets Editor to join our team at Fastmarkets. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for driving our PRA strategy in the biofuels and feedstock markets by ensuring the delivery of high-quality prices and market-leading content.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Produce high-level content, including insightful market reporting, in-depth focus pieces, and interviews, to drive market engagement and visibility in the battery raw materials/energy transition markets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, and use this information to inform our content strategy.
- Pricing Strategy: Work with our team to develop and implement pricing strategies for our biofuels and feedstock markets, including determining specifications, methodology, and data submission pools.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor reporters, and provide strategic and functional direction to the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality content.
- Collaboration: Partner with our editorial, events, and marketing teams to align content with strategic goals and ensure consistency of message and strength of impact.
- Brand Ambassador: Serve as a brand ambassador for Fastmarkets, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings, and leveraging our expertise to build relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Requirements
- Strong Journalism Skills: Possess strong journalism skills, including writing flair and the ability to produce high-quality content.
- Industry Expertise: Have a deep understanding of the battery raw materials market or associated markets, and be able to analyze trends and customer needs.
- Project Management: Possess strong project management skills, including the ability to manage complex projects and ensure timely delivery.
